This week, we had a whole school assembly for classes to share what they have learnt during Black History Month.
Children have been learning about key individuals and key events, including: Nelson Mandela, Serena Williams, Rosa Parkes, Mary Seacole, Katherine Johnson and Windrush.
Children talked about the actions these individuals took and how they have inspired us.
We value learning about people from diverse backgrounds and so Black History Month launches us into further work we will do, to help us value inclusivity and diversity.
