William Levey, a train engineer from the New Cross Gate train depot, visited KS1 to tell us about what engineers do, what its like to work as a train engineer, and how he become one. The children were really excited and asked many great questions, such as: how long it takes to fix different trains, when did he start being an engineer, what special materials he uses to fix the trains? He then stayed to help Diamond class decorate their box cars.
