Osman Mavideniz, a Safer Schools Police Officer, led a very informative and engaging session on knife crime for our Year 6 pupils in Amber Class.
He explained that any sharp object that is used to threaten, intimidate and hurt someone is dangerous and the police would treat it in the same way as if it were a knife.
The children were very engaged and asked very thoughtful questions. Below are some of the things they said at the end of the session:
