Year 5 recently worked with the poet Zohab Zee Khan in a performance poetry workshop at school. Following the workshop, a group of children attended the Junior Poetry Slam event to perform their poetry, alongside other schools. The theme for was ‘In this, Our City’
The project focused on participants’ literacy, oracy and emotional literacy. The showcase aimed to be a fun and energetic celebration of the success of the children involved in the project.
